Scratch begins with a weekly core class and optional project support.

Core classes introduce programming ideas through guided projects. Optional 30-minute labs give students additional time to ask questions, debug, and continue project work.

Junior and Senior Tracks

Beginner-friendly visual programming that develops logic, creativity, and debugging through projects students can build, test, and explain.

Good fit

No prior coding experience is required. Students join the age-based track that best matches their pace, interests, and readiness.

Learning focus

Events, loops, conditionals, variables, project planning, testing, and explaining how a program works.

Junior Track · Ages 7–9

Learn coding through games, animations, and storytelling while completing one guided creative project each week.

Senior Track · Ages 10–13

Build games while learning foundational programming concepts, with additional coding challenges and more independent creative projects.

Begins August 18. Core class: Tuesdays, 4:30–5:20 PM. Optional project lab: Thursdays, 4:30–5:00 PM.

Senior Track

Begins September 3. Core class: Thursdays, 5:30–6:20 PM. Optional project lab: Tuesdays, 5:30–6:00 PM.

A future text-based programming option focused on careful syntax, step-by-step logic, and debugging.

May be appropriate for students who can type comfortably, follow multi-step instructions, and work carefully through errors.
